Kirkwood Voters Asked To Continue Sales Tax

If approved April 4, Prop 1 would extend half-cent sale tax for capital improvements

Kirkwood's April 4 ballot will be crowded with tax propositions from the city of Kirkwood, the school district and St. Louis County. But, according to city officials, Kirkwood's Proposition 1, extending the half-cent sales tax for capital improvements, has a key advantage a 23-year track record during which it has proven itself a surpassing bargain.

Changes Update Zoning Code On Housing Standards In Rock Hill

The Rock Hill Board of Aldermen is cleaning up confusing language in the zoning code concerning architectural review on residential properties. The proposed amendment to the zoning code addresses two areas of confusion, City Administrator Jennifer Yackley said at the March 21 Rock Hill Board of Aldermen meeting.
