Des Peres

• A man stole several items May 11 from Walgreens, 12006 Manchester Road, and concealed them in a bag.

• A man was found sleeping May 12 in a restaurant area at Schnucks, 12332 Manchester Road. He was transported to Mercy Hospital due to his heavily intoxicated condition.

• A home on Ballas Park Drive was reported vandalized May 12. It is believed the culprits were Kirkwood High School students observing "Toga Night."

• During the week of May 11-18 at West County Center, three shoplifting incidents were reported involving a total of seven suspects. On May 13, three bags of stolen merchandise were located in the stairwell of the parking garage near J.C. Penney.

• During the week of May 11-18, police also responded to 24 vehicle accidents and reported 17 alarms/sick cases/assists to the fire/EMS department.

Glendale

• At 1:06 a.m. on May 15, a house in the 200 block of Parkland Avenue was reported toilet-papered, possibly as a school prank, overnight.

• At 8:50 a.m. on May 15, police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 400 block of Belvedere Lane. The parties were separated and the disturbance was settled.

• Police responded to a disturbance between construction workers and passing motorists at 2:15 p.m. on May 15 in the 500 block of Venneman Avenue. The matter was settled upon officers' arrival.

• At 4:44 p.m. on May 16, police responded to a complaint of loud music coming from a residence in the 800 block of Alexandra Avenue. While the music was not deemed to be excessively loud, the homeowner agreed to turn the volume down.

• At 4:20 a.m. on May 17, a house on Winnetka Lane was toilet-papered, possibly as a school prank, overnight. There was no damage to the home.

• The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's office charged a 29-year-old Kirkwood man May 18 with two counts of stealing over $750 by deceit. The charges are related to complaints filed by two separate residents of the 700 block of Josephine Avenue in June 2017, alleging the man took deposits for home improvement work but never returned to complete the work.

• At 1:12 a.m. on May 19, officers took home two juvenile females found after curfew on the playground of North Glendale School, 765 N. Sappington Road. They were released to a responsible adult.

• At 9:02 a.m. on May 19, a resident of the 200 block of Edwin Avenue reported his 2015 Nissan Pathfinder was stolen from his driveway overnight. The vehicle was later recovered in the city of St. Louis.

• At 1:43 p.m. on May 20, a resident of the 700 block of Juanita Avenue reported his vehicles were egged overnight while parked in his driveway. At 8:25 p.m., a resident of the 1200 block of Carol Ann Place reported his house had been egged overnight.

• At 10:33 p.m. on May 20, several residents of the 700 block of Luckystone Avenue reported they were without power. Approximately 11 residences were without power for no apparent reason. Ameren Missouri restored power to the area.

Kirkwood/Oakland

• Police are investigating a theft reported May 14 from a store in 100 block of East Jefferson Avenue.

• Residents of the 500 block of Lindeman Road and the 500 block of South Clay avenues reported May 14 their parked vehicles had been spray-painted with graffiti overnight.

• Two unlocked vehicles in the 300 block of East Bodley Avenue were reported entered May 15, overnight.

• A suspicious person was reported May 15 in the area between the 400 block of North Kirkwood Road and North Clay Avenue. The suspect initially fled from officers but was located near North Clay and Essex and arrested after a routine computer check revealed a parole violation.

• Officers responded to the 300 block of Alsobrook Street May 15 for a burglary in process. Upon arrival, officers located a broken window and a subject inside a vacant house. The subject was arrested and charged with property damage and trespassing.

• The rear window of a parked vehicle in the 700 block of Pearl Avenue was reported damaged between 7:30 and 10 p.m. May 16.

• An officer stopped a man riding his bicycle near Woodbine and South Geyer roads May 16; the man matched the description of a subject who has been breaking into vehicles overnight. He was not the person of interest, but had an active charge through the St. Charles Police Department. The subject was arrested and was transported to St. Charles.

• Officers responded to a family disturbance May 17 in the 800 block of Nirk Avenue. The officers concluded no crime had occurred. A computer check of one individual revealed an active charge through the Creve Coeur Police Department. The subject was arrested and transferred to Creve Coeur.

• Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Twin Pine Drive May 18 in reference to a destruction of property compliant. Two neighbors were involved in a verbal argument, and one pushed the other to the ground. That neighbor was arrested for assault. Police are investigating the property damage complaint.

• A wallet was reported stolen May 18 from a shopping cart at a store in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road. A review of the video surveillance confirmed the incident. The Detective Bureau is handling the investigation.

• Multiple officers responded to the 400 block of South Holmes Avenue May 19 for a verbal disturbance between neighbors. One individual was arrested and charged with peace disturbance.

• During the week of May 14-20, four cases of shoplifting were reported and investigated from businesses in the 1000-1200 blocks of South Kirkwood Road.

• Additionally, during the week of May 14-20, police responded to 43 residential/business alarms, 26 motor vehicle accidents and assisted the fire/EMS department on 64 calls.

Rock Hill

• A domestic incident between a husband and wife in the 1000 block of Martha Lane ended May 10 when police had one party leave the home for the evening.

• Police were called for a disturbance May 11 in the middle of Manchester Road and Manitou Drive. Investigation revealed a man was distraught over a girlfriend leaving him.

• A missing person was located May 11 in the 1100 block of Martha Lane. Because he suffers from dementia, he was taken to the hospital to be checked out.

• A robbery was reported May 14 at a business parking lot at Berry and Manchester roads. The suspect threatened the victim with a gun and took an undetermined amount of cash. Police are investigating.

• Police responded to a peace disturbance May 16 in the 1000 block of Raritan Drive after a former resident got into an argument with a construction worker. Police restored peace to the area. No arrests were made.

Shrewsbury

• Police responded to a report of a domestic assault May 13 in the 5100 block of Hi View Avenue, and arrested a 26-year-old man for second-degree domestic assault.

• Officers stopped a vehicle in the 7100 block of Weil Avenue for stolen plates May 13, and arrested a 27-year-old man for unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance.

• Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting May 14 at a store in the 7400 block of Watson Road, and arrested a 28-year-old woman for stealing.

• A resident of the 4100 block of Exeter Avenue reported a stolen firearm May 15. The owner said he last saw the firearm in 2016.

• Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting May 16 in the 7400 block of Watson Road, and are seeking a 25-year-old man and a 26-year-old man in connection with the incident.

• A business burglary was reported May 17 in the 7600 block of Watson Road. An unknown person stole money from the business.

Warson Woods

Police have no incidents to report this week.

Webster Groves

• A resident of the first block of Webster Woods Drive reported an identity theft May 17. An account at Pinnacle Bank was opened in the victim's name, without the victim's knowledge.

• At 8:30 a.m. on May 18, an abandoned bicycle was recovered near the intersection of Selma and South Forest avenues. The bicycle is described as a black and orange Kent mountain bike and is being held at the police station for safekeeping.

• A resident of the 600 block of Edgar Road reported a fraud May 18. The victim received two letters from a collection agency regarding a $17,000 balance on an account opened through TD Bank in New Jersey without the victim's knowledge.
