How Did Events Of Sept. 11, 2001, Change Your Life?
August 26, 2011
The four coordinated Sept. 11, 2001, al-Qaida attacks took nearly 3,000 lives and would forever change the lives of Americans.
As the 10th anniversary of those attacks draw near, the West End Word is looking for local people with life-altering stories to tell. Friends and family members were lost. Some Americans felt the need to enlist in the military, while others became politically or socially active.
We want to hear how the events of 9/11 changed your life then, and in the years that followed. Send an email to Managing Editor Fran Mannino at firstname.lastname@example.org. Stories will be shared with our readers in the Sept. 9 issue of the West End Word.
