July 15, 2015
Work crews on Wednesday, July 15, were expected to pour concrete on a completed length of track on the south side of Delmar Boulevard, from Kingsland to Melville avenues.

That work was expected to be completed by July 10, but was delayed due to rain.

With the Kingsland to Melville section complete, crews will begin track installation on Delmar from Melville to Limit Avenue.

Crews also are installing track on Delmar east of Skinker Boulevard. The work zone extends to just east of Tavolo V Restaurant, ending halfway across the parking lot entrance to keep the lot open.

Officials ask motorists and pedestrians to stay alert in both construction zones:

Two lanes (two-way traffic) is rerouted to the north side of Delmar.

Access to shops, sidewalks and ADA crosswalks remains open on both ends of the construction zones.

No parking or deliveries in the construction zone (north and south sides of Delmar).

Parking is available north of Delmar via Kingsland and Leland.
